How women with disabilities are challenging sterotypes
Over 200 million women with disabilities live below the poverty line. In many developing countries, being a woman and having a disability means you’re subject to double discrimination – and this can make finding a route out of poverty nearly impossible.
The solution is inclusion.
These women are smashing stereotypes, challenging negative attitudes and proving beyond doubt that the elimination of extreme global poverty can only happen when people with disabilities are able to fully participate in society.
